| I have lived in the Austin area for 23 years and love the art influences and scenic beauty of our city. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and love the diverse ethnic cultures that influenced me during my 24 years living there. As a educator, I have been involved in elementary education for 25 years teaching art, several grade levels, special education resource and serving as an assistant principal, principal and in personnel administrator for Leander ISD. I have 2 teenagers, 16 and 17 years old and love animals. I'd like to get back to my roots in art, which helped me get through college! Clay work is a joy to me and our club has helped me get back in touch with my creative side. Most of the clay girl oldies will tell you I've struggled with coming up with a product but if enthusiasm counts, I'm miles ahead of any "doll in a year". Let's all celebrate the creative talents we have and enjoy..... |
