Personality

The �playboy� of the show�hey every show has at least one :P. Yohji, though he is usually very calm and collected, can loose his temper and tends to be on the stubborn side (especially when it involves someone he loves). He is very loyal to people he loves, and it seems like he�s never going to get over Asuka (though he continues to pick up women). Yohji is also sort of the comic relief of the show because he is always humorous (even on missions, though he is actually very dedicated) because he never passes up a chance on picking up a woman. He seems to be the most knowledgeable about romance and is always teasing Ken and Omi about various things such as not having girlfriend and picking up underage girls (because they are both young). And though he seems to �play with love�, he actually values it a lot (remember when Nagi and Tot �died� and he put there hands together?), but that won�t change the way he acts in battle (unless of course his enemy looks exactly like his past love).

History

Prior to joining Weiss, Yohji was a small time detective, and his partner was named Asuka, and Asuka and Yohji loved each other very much. On a case, Yohji was critically wounded, where he ordered Asuka to leave him and escape. She tries to, but is then shot in front of Yohji where she is killed. Yohji the joined Weiss where he fought against Schreient (more importantly Neu who happened to look exactly like Asuka). From here, we assume that Takatori had found Asuka and brainwashed her (that�s why she seems to have amnesia) where she became �Neu� (Note: �Neu� means New in German, I assume this is because she became �new� after she was brainwashed, with a brand new life). In a fight, Yohji was then forced to Kill Neu/Asuka for good, and she never remembers him or their past together.

Personal Thoughts

What can I say about Yohji? He�s a playboy�but really loves Asuka. His playboy attitude gives humour to the show, which we all appreciate. He seems dedicated to his �work�, and really cares for his friends. He doesn�t always thinks about what he�s doing (remember in the final fight episode with Shreient when he kept doing suicidal things?), but is an extremely good fighter that catches onto things quickly. And though sometimes he seems like he doesn�t really care about his job, he really does and is always sure that what he�s doing is the right thing. I think Yohji is one of those people that you would like to have around when you�re in trouble (�again all the Weiss guys would be), and I think Yohji�s just really good for a laugh. It just seems like all the realationships that the Weiss guys go through (and there have been quite a few�) always end in heartbreak.
