The following section deals with “Yaoi” (or male X male relationships). There is nothing graphic here, but does acknowledge the fact that there may or may not be Yaoi couples on Weiss Kreuz. Yaoi?

Yoai is simply male X male relationships (Yuri being female X female), and this term is very often brought up on Anime series that include multiple main male characters (Gundam Wing is a big one since there are 5 guys as the main characters), and many Yaoi fans tend to make their own pairings on shows when there are small signs of Yaoi relation ships.

Yaoi on Weiss Kreuz? Yup, Weiss Kreuz is another show that fans tend to make Yaoi couples (and who could blame them? Just look at how many major male characters there are), and though the show never “officially introduces” a Yaoi couple, fans are very quick to pick up on the small details that could point to a couple.

Personally, I don’t really like or dislike Yaoi, hey it’s there great its not there…great anyway. It depends on the case I guess, and I suppose anyone would dislike Yaoi if it were argued poorly, so I’m going to try avoiding bad arguments. Please don’t mail and flame me for having this here, if you read the warning, you wouldn’t be here anyway…

Some of the Couples

Here are just a few of the popular couples that fans have made. I have also commented on the couples, acording to what I have heard from fans.

Aya X Omi - The two “depressing” people that would seem to make a perfect couple since they both have felt a large amount of emotional pain, and would understand each other. When Omi first finds out that he is a “Takatori”, Aya is cold to him at first, but then ends up comforting him, so this I believe is what first lead people to believe that they could possible a couple.

Ken X Omi - The two “cuties” of Weiss. These two mostly just end up saving each other, which makes them seem cute, and the fact that they always seem to “rescue” each other was really good for Yaoi fans to see. (Remember when Omi fell and was poisoned? The way Ken protected Omi seemed pretty Yaoi, and when Yohji, Ken and Omi had to fight against the special forces and Ken insisted they go to rescue him, but then Ken got hurt so Omi had Ken in his lap?)

Omi X Nagi – The youngest members of Weiss and Shwarz. These two are often paired up for fights, since they ages are pretty close, and because they are both young is one of the reasons that fans have paired them up as a couple. And there has been one special image of Nagi and Omi in a bed together…wearing a less clothes then usual (but not naked :P) which has strengthened the whole relationship theory. This is also a very popular couple used in fan fictions.

Ken X Aya – Well it’s kind of hard to explain this one. I suppose this couple was created since these two are known for being very attractive, so they were paired up. I think it’s kind of hard to find proof of a relationship between Aya and anyone (except Sakura of course), but I think that this couple is used in fan fiction so often is because Aya tends to be a bit cold where as Ken is always full of energy…and you know what they say: opposites attract right?

Nagi X Brad Crawford - The “oddball” couple. This one tends to put Brad as the aggressive “masculine” figure in the relationship and Nagi as the “feminine” side. I suppose this is also the reason that this couple was created, since their personalities are very different, and because they both just seem cute to yaoi fans. Some people say that Brad is like a father figure to Nagi, but others take is as lovers. The only thing I can think of that fans have said was “evidence” was the time that Nagi chased after Tot, and Brad interfered, though he made it seem like a strictly business act, using a little imagination it could be a yaoi thing I suppose.
