Personality

I think Ken has an awesome personality. He does have a pretty short temper, but as Yohji said �He�s hot-headed but not stupid�. When he believes in something he sticks with it, and that makes him kind of stubborn and easy to fool. He�s really willing to protect his friends, even when all signs point them as a killer (Kase). He tends to be a bit emotional at times, but that just makes him more human. Ken doesn�t like to take charge unless he�s forced to, but when he does, he can be very independent. Ken does have a childish side (when he hangs out with Kase), but doesn�t really seem to be to mature or to immature. He can endure a lot of mental and physical pain and never blames anyone for anything. He will risk his life for his friends (even if it weren�t apart of his job-remember when Omi was half dead?), and isn�t afraid of death (I doubt any of the Weiss members are).

History

Ken used to be a goalie playing in the J-League before he was accused of gambling and changing the way he played to win bets and finally quit playing soccer. His best friend Kase was also on his team, but was a third-rate player where as Ken was top tier. Kase was actually the one that that was gambling and actually drugged Ken to win. But since Ken was so caring for his friends, he never once thought that Kase was behind all of it. Later on, he was attacked in a warehouse with Kase and the warehouse was burned down and everyone thought he was dead. Ken then joined Weiss, and later met up with Kase again and finally learned that Kase wasn�t really his friend and Ken was forced to kill him.

Personal Thoughts

Ken is really the reason I started watching Weiss Kreuz (I thought he was cute :D). And when I watched the series, I just grew to like him more (don�t get the wrong idea I didn�t �fall in love� or anything :P) and the characters in the show got me hooked. Ken especially was interesting since I couldn�t believe all the stuff that happened to him and he remained strong through the whole thing. I think he�s a really great person, and it�s cool how he�s always around to help his friends (Omi especially considering he saved Omi quite a few times) and it was sad how when he was finally happy (when he got a girlfriend), and he saved her, she left him. But he got over that and stayed happy and strong for the rest of the Weiss guys. Oh yeah, his fighting outfit is really cool ;) I especially like the goggles :D.
