Beverly Crusher MD

"I can't believe the nerve of that man! He just marches into MY sickbay and takes over?! It's certainly no fault of my own that I was detained by the captain."
Borg victim's prognosis is good

"It's an amazing thing," says Crusher. "Although the implant prevents me from perfoming standard treatment on Commander Douglas, the device will actually hold the wrist in place in such a way that the break should heal on its own."

The non-extensive implant is believed to be relatively harmless.  "By the time the wound heals, in about six weeks' time, the arm should be strong enough that we can extract the implant safely," Crusher adds.

"It's a damn good thing Douglas didn't break his neck. He could very well have been totally assimilated by that madman Pandya's surgical hand!"
All dressed ... no place to go

Crusher has prescribed a six-week rest period for the victim. "Absolutely no more skating on the holodeck! And that's an order, Lieutenant Commander!"
Daredevil Douglas

"Commander Douglas was always a bit of a daredevil," reports veteran Starfleet Captain Jean Luc Picard. "Imagine figure skating at his age!"

Douglas is known for his unorthodoxy, even as far back as Starfleet Academy, as this senior photo bears witness. "He always DID have problems with the dress code," Picard adds.
The now-infamous atrocities of the Borg were first documented stardate 2265, with the destruction of Guinan's home planet.
