Jack Kennedy on a warm Texas day They came and tok him yeah they did The riots on Columbia University's campus Looooong before Rodney King Abner Louima Marching in Washington, chocolate city Oh, they took Malcolm too... now the brother's want him back too late Do you remember my brother's Huey and Bobby What they stood for went to jail for I remember I.S. 320, me a jr. Black Panther And the A&P demonstration in Fort Greene Boom We didn't do it... But who I bet they know they sure do High School went fast as I remembered Bobby Kennedy... Remember Martin... and his Dream I had a dream Marched on D.C. / again... for Black Solidarity Read the Last Poets... not for the last time / nor the first But somewhere along the way...
