Kirsch Reunion 2002
June 22, 2002
The reunion this year was organized my Tim & Lois Kline (thanks guys!). It was, thankfully, a beautiful sunshiny day, with great food, great company, and lots of fun.
I've included the pictures I took, but I'd like to put more up. If you have any, please send them my way.
In addition to the usual group picture, this year we took a picture of "the ones that began it all" or the aunts and uncles, as it was called that day.
After the mini group picture was taken, Teresa (my grandma) and Edna decided to take center stage for a picture of their own.
Here are John & Elissa (did I spell that right?). They have an adorable 2 1/2 month old baby girl who I somehow forgot to get a picture of. I was too busy holding her. (but Lois and Tim did. Scroll down for a picture of Ella with Donna.)
Mike never seems to look happy when I take his picture. Is it me or is it him? Who knows. Actually, he was probably trying to locate his darling daughter...
Kortnee. She seemed to enjoy the swings. She also spent a lot of time sitting in Megan's playpen with her. She was highly amused by little Megan. I was highly amused at how scared she was of my brother.
Speaking of Megan, here she is, making a mess of herself. She apparently didn't like the bananas and rice.
Megan is Jeff and Melissa Ruscetta's daughter.
Rich decided to see what would happened if Megan touch John's spikey hair. She wasn't seriously injured, but I think John's needs to have a carry permit for his hair.
On the other side of John is the happy father, Jeff.
This is Shaina and Katelyn Ott and Michael Crawford. They were either playing with the seesaw or conducting off physics experiments. Given the amount of time Mike spends with Tom, you can never be too sure.
(Submitted by Lois & Tim Kline) This is Kortnee, holding her new prize from the Chinese Auction.
(Submitted by Lois & Tim Kline) And this is the aftermath of the reunion... Just a little too much excitement for Kortnee. She looks like a baby doll in this picture, if you ask me.
(Submitted by Lois & Tim Kline) Here's Donna Sandstrom holding a real-live baby doll. Ella, that is. I knew some had a picture of her. She's just precious...
If you want to copy any of these pictures for yourself, I wouldn't recommend trying to save them from here because the resolution's not so great. Email me and I'll send you a better one.
