The Park
After driving by this ballpark several times, and having been unable to make a game as of yet, I decided to stop in for a look in August 2002 on my way south on Interstate 95.  The team was out of town that day, but a grounds crew worker by the bullpen in right was nice enough to let me enter and take some pictures.  Opened in June 2002, this is home to the Aberdeen Ironbirds of the short-season single A New York-Penn League.  Lower and upper seats are separated by an aisle, like many of the new parks I've seen.  The upper section behind home has tables and chairs rather than seats, an interesting feature.  Above that, one can stand on the concourse and take in an unobstructed view of the field, although a few steps to the right and you're looking at bricks.  There are more tables and chairs down the lines.  The seating bowl curves in the outfield so the seats face the infield.  It looks like a nice place to see a game, which I hope to do someday.
