Here is a picture of me taken in mid 2000 when I was 22 years old. I attended William H. Hall High School in West Hartford from 1992-1996. At Hall, I was on the varsity hockey team all four years included 1992-93 when we were the CIAC Division II State Champions. I won The Most Improved Player award on the hockey team during my senior year (1995-96). I graduated from Hall High with honors in 1996. In May of 2000, I graduated from The University of Connecticut with a Bachlor of Science in Statistics. In the fall of 1996, I made Deans List at UConn. In December of 2001, I received my MS in Statistics from The University of Connecticut. I was employed by the Hartford Whalers in 1996 as an intern statistician and I was an intern actuary at an actuarial consulting firm in 1998. In the Summer of 1999, I did biostatistical research at the UConn Health Center. In the spring of 2000, I did a research project to see if multiple regression analysis can predict the performance of a player in the National Hockey League based on his amateur league statistics. I also compared least-squares regression with robust regression methods for this project. In the summer of 2001, I did statistical inference for the Connecticut Juvenile Justice project for a non-profit organization called the Connecticut Policy and Economic Council. I currently work in the Statistics Group at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford where I am working on probabilistic design methods for the developement of the engine for the Joint Strike Fighter or F-35 fighter jet. I always keep myself up to date with the news and especially local politics.

The webmaster's final thought
Since some of the politicians on this page are just as crazy as the guests on the Jerry Springer show (especially Rowland) I think it is appropriate for me to give my final thought. When it comes to local politics, the average person does not pay much attention to what their politicians are doing. When constituents do not check to see what their representatives are doing, two things can happen. One of them is the politicians will realize they can get away with whatever they want and the voters will not know about it so they will become corrupt. The other thing that happens is a complete idiot can get elected into office and the voters won't know that this politician is very stupid (example: Rowland). There is a simple way to prevent this. Read your local newspaper, they have a lot of information on what the politicians in Connecticut are doing. Also, talk to your representatives and tell them how you feel. You can e-mail them, call their office, write letters, or talk directly to them. Make sure you know a lot about the topic you are presenting to your representative because then you will sound more intelligent so there will be a better chance he/she will take action on the subject you presented. If we all work together, we can eliminate stupid and corrupt politicians in Connecticut. When a problem comes up, most people say, "Why can't THEY do something about it." "They" won't do anything unless you want them to do something. This means Connecticut will not change unless you take action to make it change. I hope you have found this web site to be both informative and funny.
