UPDATE:
THIS JUST CAME IN FROM REPRESENTATIVE ED JUTILIA WHO HAS SUPPORTED US
FROM DAY ONE:
Murray:
In
addition to the memo from about 12 of my colleagues in the House to
the Speaker in support of 1255, from which my name was inadvertantly omitted,
I sent my own memo to the Speaker. I also got 10 minutes of face
time with him yesterday during which I believe I made the strongest
case possible for bringing out the bill. I believe my case
was received well; however, I cannot tell you what he will do.
Getting
10 minutes with the Speaker this time of year is a big deal. At
this point, I have done everything I possibly can. You guys
should continue with your e-mails and phone calls though.
