Re: Continuing Education For Plumbers

Dear Commissioner Rodriquez,

Jack Cutillo, William Lamphere and I have been involved in debate regarding Continuing Education for Plumbers.  It has been brought to my attention that you met with members of special interest groups yesterday to discuss this matter.

Jack, William and I respectfully request a meeting with you prior to the March 10, 2005 public hearing to discuss the issue.  We are available to meet at your convenience and hope you extend the same courtesy to our group as you have to the special interest groups.

Commissioner, the special interest groups you met with yesterday represent only a small fraction of the 8,000 plumbers in the State of Connecticut . As you know, legislation that was enacted was pushed through without any input for the majority of the  of the 8,000 plumbing license holders who work in our state.
