Dear Commissioner Rodriquez,

I contacted you via e mail January 31, 2005 regarding issues with continuing education for plumbers and specifically the meeting of the general law committee held March 5, 2002.  Unfortunately, I never received any response regarding my concerns.  Please advise me at your earliest convenience of the position of the department of consumer protection with regard to the above.

 

Additionally, please advise me of the department of consumer protection's position regarding continuing education.  On March 5, 2002, Robert Huppelsberg stated the following:" The Department of Consumer Protection prefers that it cover all trade licenses."

Does that mean it is your intention to require every trade or license holder in the State of Connecticut to attend a continuing education program?? Please advise.
