Just a note to bring
everyone up to speed. Thanks to all your hard work, we have at
least made an impact and have many Representatives requesting change
to this law. Even the Department of Consumer Protection is
now on record of being in favor of some kind of change. As I have
stated to most of you, the fate of our fight rests with the General
Law Committee. They will either move the issue to a Public Hearing
or it will die. I think we will know very shortly. Good
job in getting the message out, keep up the good work and
spread the word.

About 3,500 Members have
visited the Website. I think there is interest in what we are
doing. Unfortunately the Special interest groups who testified on our behalf
at the public hearing held without our knowledge, were not concerned
with our views. We must guard against this in the future.
Tell your friends and associates to continue the phone calls, Mail
and E-Mails to their Reps.
