FM2202 No. 12 Skn TUDM Butterworth

2 F-5B were ordered together with a total of 14 F-5E Tiger IIs in 1975. These aircraft were operated by the newly formed 12 Squadron in Butterworth. Little are known about the TUDM F-5B, it was later passed to RTAF when the more capable F-5F arrived to take it place as the operation trainer.

My 1/72 Hasegawa F-5B, Actually build some 10 years ago, given a second life as a training kit a few weeks back, I strip the paint and touch up nearly all the joint that seem not important those days, added some of the Airfix RF-5E part on it and decal modified from Italari F-5E..

I drop the Flap and Slat but not nicely executed, the canopy fitting is bad and have a large gap, and my first time to paint NMF too...

All in all, Not my best but much improved then the original build...
