Marvel made a comic book adaptation of Frankenstein way back when. It was rather consistent with the book. Starts out with Robert Walton's (the ice explorer) great-great-grandson, or something to that extent, exploring the Arctic region. There, he and his crew finds the frozen body of the monster. He's defrosted, informed that the a living relative of Victor Frankenstein still exists, and then sets out to finish off Frankenstein's family. The first four volumes is actually a long flashback, telling the reader what happened during the book.
