Notice the use of electricity and the lightly-used term 'mad scientist'. In addition, the monster and Frankenstein never worked together in the book.
Here, you have the monster, Frankenstein, and Igor arguing in a diner in Transylvania. Frankenstein most definately did not take place in Transylvania, home of Dracula. Plus, you have the integration of Igor, from the movies, into the general media, whereas Igor, hunchback or not, was never present in the original book.
