Dedicated to the 2004-2005 Kansas Men's Basketball Team By Camille and Kira Myers KUhow are words going to describe? I dont know if they can, but I'm going to tell you and Ive gotta be right. When Langford goes sky high, when J.R.s three is nothing but net, when Aaron finds Wayne and he throws it down. Who can stop them? That team hasnt been found, not meaning just by the score, I'm talking who has heart and whos hungry for more. Who wants it really bad? KU does every team they beatstill not enough. Theyre smooth and graceful on the fast break, real smartwhen theres holes they drive the lane. KU basketballman its insane! So what happens when you mix sweat with pleasure? KU take a ruler and measure, cause Jayhawks got skill down to the mall, talking height-wise its about seven feet tall. KU tradition goes way back, some of this stuff is bigger than Shaq! Past or present, you gotta believe that no ones better. Danny Manning, way back when, won the championship and bet we can do it again. KU even brought up the young Paul Pierce, it only took him three sweet years, he fascinated coaches and even other players, to KU fans, Paul was their savior. In more recent times, KU uncovered two gold mines. Kirk and Nick were a lot to swallow, for the other teams, well they left them marshmallows. KU tradition has never died down, so dont you ever think its going to die now. So all you die hard fans who have followed KU, believe this and know its true. Nothing quite like this has spoken the truth. KUwords just can't describe, were not green, black, or white, were crimson and blue Oh baby! Now thats KU! |
