| I was
born in Quezon City, one of the cities which make up the Philippine
capital of Metro-Manila |

attended secondary (high) school at Miriam College (formerly Maryknoll
College) from 1986 until my graduation in 1990 |

acquired my Bachelor's degree in
Secondary Education, majoring in Social Studies, in 1996 from the University of the
Philippines in Diliman (UP Diliman) Four years later, I received my graduate-level Diploma in Archaeology from the Archaeological Studies Program (ASP) of the same university |
| In 2001, under the DAAD's short-term scholarship program, I went to Germany to do research connected to my M.A. (in Prehistory) thesis at the University of Tübingen |
| In 2003 I moved to Norway, where I tied the knot and settled down early in 2004 |
| At
present I am living with my husband and our little cairn terrier in the
historic city of Trondheim, where I am continuing with my studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), this time pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Maritime Archaeology |
