Acting script page

This is the script that I have written since the 1st Semester. The script itself tell the story and the action of the charaters. However, due to some certain problem, some scenes in the actual may have been altered but nevertheless it still remain the same story as it mentioned within the script itself.

Major Characters

Yo: A young journalist from MIT (Mysterious Investigate Team) who happened to be a human host for the mysterious entity known as Ultraman. Yo will be able to transform into Ultraman by using "Spirit Merger" to combine his and Ultraman's soul together. However their spirit could only be merged for 3 minutes or else they will die.

Mina: Yo's friend. She also MIT journalist who is full of great enthusiasm in becoming a great news reporter in the future, always believe in Alien and supernatural phenomenon.

Ultraman Alpha: An ancient spirit that has been living within the earth since the beginning of time. Due to the invasion from Alien "Syron", Ultraman has to once again awake from his millennium hibernation. However, he only exists as a spirit, he need to merge his spirit with the human's physical form and he has chosen Yo as his human host. Usually Ultraman spirit form exists inside a bracelet like item called "Spirit Merger"

Zetron : One of Syron's genetic weapons. Zetron is sent to earth in form of a meteor like Cocoon. With the fully-grown state, Zetron is a 40 feet high monster and has an ability to shoot the fireball/dead ray and able to fly with its gigantic insect like wings.

Scene 1:

(The Title sequence emerged)

(Long distance, or medium shot) (F/X)
Within the space, the earth from a long distance shot as it's being surrounded by thousand of stars and meteors. Then the camera pans slowly to the right hand side, revealing a huge, alien space ship slowly heading towards the earth.

(Close up shot) (F/X)
We get a closer look into the face of the spaceship, displaying its bright red eye like ball with the reflecting image of the earth being shown. This looks as if the ship itself is staring at the earth.

(Medium shot) (F/X)
Shot from below the space ship, which suddenly shoot a blazing fireball. The camera then slowly pan, following the direction of the mysterious fireball as it is heading towards the earth.

(This scene still in consideration, I still not sure whether should I take this shot or not)
(Long shot) (F/X)
At the Geelong beach, during night time, the red fireball is dropped into the sea, causing a huge blast, making the huge water splash with thunderous noise.

(Medium shot) (F/X)
Under water scene, the fireball is turned out to be a ball that has some sort of alien organic. As it sinks into the water, the red ball like eye starting to glow.

SCENE 2:
(Inside the MIT office)

(A long distance shot of Government State Building. But within this movie, the building is presumed to be the MIT head quarter. However, the interior shot will be done entirely in Gordon Institution)

(A young man entered the room, which is full of computer equipments. He seems to be a little bit exhausted because he has been running to his office. He turns towards another 2 people, a young girl and a middle age man as they are discussing about something)

Mina (name of the girl): You are late as usual Yo (1)

YO (embarrassingly rubbing his head): Sorry, my alarm clock did not work this morning and I miss the bus. (2)

Mr Wilson (the Middle age man): That's alright, anyway would you please come and sit down for a moment then Mr. Yo, I have an assignment for both of you to do.
(Yo gets a chair and sits next to Mina. Both of them start to pay the attention to their boss.) (3)

Mr. Wilson: Last night there has been an incident of a blaze from the sky. At the same time many people also claim that they had heard something falling into the bay around Geelong beach area. So what do you reckon about this incident. (4)

Yo: I reckon it might be just a meteor falling into the bay. (5)

Mina (exciting shout): Or it might be an Alien spaceship!! (6)

Yo: gosh, you think like a primary school kid, what an immature. (7)

Mina (arguing): Well this just one of the possibility isn't it. (8)

Mr. Wilson: Alright, alright, stop arguing. This is the reason why I call you both here. As the journalists of MIT, Mysterious Investigate Team, I would like to assign you 2 to make the investigation of that mysterious object. (9)

Yo: Well, Mr. Wilson, didn't you remember that about last time, a monster like Nessie at the Geelong Beach. And guess what happened, it just turn out to be a short eye-sight guy seeing a duck and he though that it was the Nessie. (10)

Mina: Come on Yo don't be such a pain in the bump, perhaps there may be a real flying saucer. (11)

Mr. Wilson: This is supposes to be the job for you, the journalists of MIT. Now just go and investigate it. Make sure that this news is going to be published tomorrow morning. (12)

SCENE 3
(At the hall way)

(Mina and Yo are walking together at the hallway, with a camera in her hand. She seem to be in full of the excitement while her friend still display no enthusiastic reaction towards their new assignment)

Yo: don't know what got into Mr. Wilson's head. No, not just him, every staff around here too, they all seem to be fanatical about making the headline for these phenomenon like alien, monster. Why can't they just do some other decent, better news like a politician got fire or whatever. (12)

Mina: Well doing this, we won't get any readers to come and buy more of our paper then. Anyway, you seem to hate this job so much and why you decide to work here then. (13)

Yo: Well to admit to you, I have been applying for my career as a journalist for other newspaper publications but they won't accept me. They say that they need a person with more experience. So I try to get a best shot at this newspaper publication and here I am, investigating the news about the little Green men with you, like Scully and Mulder. (He then turn towards Mina, making a funny look), Except that this time it turns out that Scully is actually "The spooky" one. (13)

Mina (as she is embarrassed by this comment, she then slightly slapped Yo's shoulder with her palm): that's not funny and, I am not the spooky one. (14)

Yo (giggling): OK, I am sorry. Just forget about what I say and let go and search for the little green men of your then……..(Yo got close to Mina's ear and whispers) Miss Spooky Mina. (15)

Mina (making an angry yell): damn you Yo (as she shout, Yo is running down the hallway laughing at Mina's reaction). (16)

SCENE 4
(Geelong Beach)

( Despite the rumour about the fallen meteor, there are still many people comes for the picnic or doing other activities around the beach. Mina was interviewing a man about the last night incidence, while Yo just look around the beach with the relaxing look).

Yo: It's good to get out of the office for just a day. (as he takes a deep breath, Mina comes behind him and wack in his head). (17)

Mina: Hey! We aren't here for vacation. We are here for work you know. Just go and do something will you. (18)

Yo: Alright, Alright I will. (19)

(As he departed, Yo then quietly grumbling to himself, suddenly he froze. He feels there is something calling him. He then turns his attention towards a pile stones around the shore).

(Camera effect: Zooming in effect applies to both Yo's face and the stones where Yo is staring at.)

Yo (thinking to himself): weird I have a feeling that there is someone or something is calling me. (20)

(Yo rushes towards the area. As he is surveying, he happened to find a gold bracelet with the pyramid like object on the top. There a glittering crystal ball placed on the top of pyramid. Yo picks the bracelet up and take a look with astonishing)

Yo: Who could have dropped this valuable thing. It seems to be made from real gold. Well, better give it to the officer later on. It isn't good to keep it for my own. But anyway, there is no harm to wear this bracelet. (21)

(Yo put on the bracelet onto his right hand wrist. He displays a satisfaction looks as the bracelet is happened to fit on his wrist).

Yo: Wow it fits me really well. Pity that I can't own such a cool bracelet like this. (22)

(Suddenly Yo have a feeling that the world is spinning around him (camera effect: making rapid circling movement around Yo) he starts to hear a voice)

mysterious voice: You are now have been chosen. (23)

(camera/FX: rapid zoom in Yo face. He is no longer in Geelong beach as he is placed in the alienate environment, covering with bright several colour covering the sky)

(Yo shakes with fright as he heard the sound. Suddenly he saw the image of a mysterious creature, whose feature is similar to human except his red bright strips covering around his white body, and the silvery face that staring at Yo with the oval bright eyes. There's also a pyramid like object with the crystal ball on the top that resembling to the bracelet placed on the chest of the creature).

Yo: Oh no, there is the alien after all. Please don't do anything to me, I promise that I won't tell anyone…. Please, please. (24)

The mysterious creature: Do not be alarm, I am not the alien and I mean no harm to you. I am here to save you and all mankind from the destruction. (25)

Yo (still shaken): If you are not alien, then who are you. What do you want from me? (26)

The mysterious creature: I am an entity of this earth. I had been guarding this planet even before the mankind were born. I have been known by many names… God…. Giant of light…..but you shall know me as Alpha. (27)

Yo: Alpha?! (28)

Alpha: correct, the reason I have awake from my long hibernation because I could sense the greatest danger, an invasion from Syron. (29)

Yo: Syron, who are they? (30)

Alpha: Syron are the savage race of aliens. They had invaded the earth million years ago and it was I who drove them away. However they have return with their ultimate destructive weapon known as Zetron. (31)

Yo: Zetron, do you mean the meteor that fallen into the shore last night.(32)

Alpha: correct. However, I shall not be able to fight them without any physical existence. Therefore I have to merge my spirit with the spirit of the living on earth. (Alpha then point the bracelet, the one that Yo is wearing) and you have been chosen to be my human host. The earth and all mankind are depended upon you now. (33)

Yo (weaving his hands in protest): Hey hey, wait a minutes. When did I say that I am agreed to be you human host. Such as great responsibility like this why don't you find someone else to do it then? (34)

Alpha: There is not enough time now. In this moment Zetron will be hatched out of its cocoon and there will be nothing in this earth that could stop this creature. If we are not merge our spirit, all the mankind shall meet their doom and the world will belong to the Syron. (35)

(Yo become hesitate, while Alpha still continue)
(Camera starts zooming into Alpha as he continues talking.)
Alpha: Our spirit can be merged only by using the bracelet, the one called "Spirit Merger", once our spirit has been merge we could only stay on earth for 3 minutes. Any longer then that, our life force will be drain out and we shall die if we don't separate our spirit from each other. It is you decision now, Yo, whether you would accept this responsibility or not. (36)

(Suddenly there is a hand touching Yo's shoulder. Yo then jumps in fright as he turns around to face Mina).

Mina: Hey Yo, what is the matter with you? You just standing there ? (37)

Yo: Well Mina. Actually I…… (38)

(As Yo turn around. He finds himself back to Geelong beach. He could not find Alpha anywhere else at all)

Yo (muttering to himself): I must have a day-dreaming. (39)

(However, as Yo raise his wrist, he still find himself still wearing his spirit merger. The frightening expression is displaying upon Yo's face as he ignore Mina.)

Mina: Yo, what is the matter? Are you sick or something? (40)

Yo: What the hell? (41)

(Yo then takes off his bracelet and is about to throw it away. However, he is interrupted by Mina's exclaim.)

Mina: Yo!!! Look at this. There is something emerging from the sea. (42)

(Like the people who come to the beach, Yo turns his attention towards the sea as he stares with frightening look.)

F/X

(The ocean bubbling up as a gigantic figure starting to emerge. It is turns out to be some sort of the creature, as huge as a whale, with the no characteristic that resembling to any creature on earth. Its entire body is covered with black thick armour like skin while its horrid face features the huge horn. The creature starts making an angry horrible roar as he approaching the land).

Yo: Zetron!!!! (43)

Mina (scream as she is pulling him): Come on Yo, we got to get out of here. This news is too big for us to put into our headline tomorrow!!! (44)

SCENE 5
(in the city, the assault of Zetron)

(The people start screaming as Zetron approaching the land. The creature makes a terrible roar a he starts smashing buildings. The entire city turns into chaos as Zetron continues go on rampaging. The fighting jets show up as they bravely circling around, shooting the missile or any necessary assault in order to subdue the creature, however this only annoying him. Zetron gave out an angry roar as he raises his hands pointing at the fighting jets. Suddenly the holes from his two hands start firing the dead ray. As the ray hit the fighting jets, they burst into flame and then explode. The civilians start screaming in fright as Zetron stepping on them mercilessly while he still blazing dead ray from his two hands).

SCENE 6
(In the park (around Geelong library))

(Mina and Yo stopping by the park as they helplessly watching the destruction cause by Zetron).

Mina: Oh no, even the army could not stop this creature. What should we do now? (45)

(Mina collapse onto the ground as she start to cry helplessly)
Mina: Why #sob# why does it has to be this way. Is this the end of mankind already? Why does it has to be in this way…..why? (46)

(Yo make a serious look, staring at the scene with disbelief eyes).

Yo: If only I have to use this (he's looking at the Spirit merger), but what would I become and will I be able to stop this creature. (47)

Mina: Yo! Watch out. (48)

(Mina pushes Yo aside as Zetron's feet stomping onto the direction where they both are. Yo lying on the ground with Mina, who happened to faint).

Yo: Mina!! Are you alright?! Mina! (as he shake her, Mina still remain unconscious). (49)

Yo (mutter to himself): Alpha is right, if I don't do something there shall be no future for all the mankind and such as good friend like Mina and everyone shall be suffer…(50)

(Yo standing up as he bravely raises his head facing the creature)

Yo (Yell at the creature): You big ugly freak, I shall be the one who going to stop you. (51)

(Yo crossed his arms as he holds the spirit merger, then he pushes the bracelet forwards while the crystal on the bracelet starting to glow.)

Yo: SPIRIT MERGE…….. ALPHA!!!!!!! (52)

F/X
(Suddenly the surround environment has turns with several surrealist colour, the same as the scene where Yo has first talk with Alpha. Yo starts to have a strange transformation as part of his body starting to fade replacing with the feature of the mighty entity, Alpha.)

(In the next scene, compose with the look of space like environment with a blink of light flashing then comes along with a huge burst of flame. Alpha then emerges out of the flame with his gigantic arm pushing forwards as he makes a powerful roar).

(While Zetron still enjoy rampaging, Alpha grows into the giant size facing the creature. Zetron then turns his attention towards the giant as he charges Alpha with full force. Alpha managed to spin around, escaping from the creature assault. At the same time, he made a spinning kick at the Zetron, causing the creature to fell onto the ground.)

(Alpha poses his fighting stance, prepare for the second assault. Zetron manages to get up. The creature aims its two hands at Alpha as he starts firing the dead ray at the giant. However, Alpha then creates some sort of the energy shield that bloke the dead ray. In respond Alpha push his hand forwards firing a fireball at the Zetron, causing the creature to stun at that moment. Then Alpha jumps up making a spinning kick at the monster, causing Zetron to fell onto the ground for a second time).

(Mina awake as she struggle to be on her feet and then turning around looking for Yo)

Mina: Yo, where are you? What the? (53)

(Mina raises her head as she witnessing the battle between the 2 titans as they struggle against each other in mortal combat).

Mina: Who is that giant, hope that he is a good guy. (54)

(Alpha makes several powerful punches against the creature however Zetron manages to make a powerful smash at Alpha, who fell onto the ground. Zetron turns around facing Mina and starting to lift its feet preparing to step on her. Mina screams helplessly however Alpha manages to grab Mina as he lift her up and put her in the safer spot. Zetron uses this opportunity to blaze Alpha with the dead ray, stunning him. Nevertheless Alpha still able to turn around facing his mortal enemy but the crystal on his chest starting to blink with the red light as Alpha himself seem to become exhausted.)

Mina: That giant just save my life….. but why? (55)

(Zetron then spread his hands aside at the same time the huge wings emerge from his back. The wings are flipping lifting up the creature. Alpha maintains his fighting pose while the crystal on his chest is blinking warning his about the time remaining on earth. Suddenly, Zetron flying forwards, hitting Alpha. Alpha then flies away hitting the building nearby. Zetron continues the assault as he repeatedly hit Alpha who then becomes exhausted. Zetron flies up higher while he aims his hands at Alpha, preparing to fire another dead ray. Alpha crosses his arms that eventually creating the sparking light. As Zetron is about to fire his dead ray, Alpha then crosses his arms together and aims at Zetron, then the huge laser beam emerges from Alpha's arms and it go directly towards the creature. When the laser struck Zetron, the creature's body begins to explode. Huge fireball blasts off violently. It is so violent that Mina has to cover herself. Then the fireball eventually fades and Zetron is gone for good.)

(Mina is staring at Alpha while the giant himself also look down at her. The giant weaving his hand as a gesture of saying goodbye before he jumps off and flies away. Mina also weaves her hand in respond. When she turns around, she comes to face Yo, who happens to show from behind).

Yo: Mina!? Are you alright there? (60)

Mina: Yo, you just miss something you know, there is a giant happened to show up. He just save my life and kill that monster a moment ago. But anyway, where were you?! (61)

(Before Yo could say anything, he heard the voice from Alpha)

Alpha: Yo…… let this be the secret between us from now. I still have to spirit merge with you someday because those Syron would not give up that easily and they will soon be returned. (62)

Mina: Well.. (63)

Yo: Well… when you were faded, I ran to get help but when that monster is stomping again, a stone just flying across and knock me down. (64)

Mina: uhh I see, anyway without that giant, we won't stay alive to see each other. He is so ultimate. (65)

Yo: Yes, he really is the Ultraman (66)

Mina: Ultraman…. I like that name let call him Ultraman then. (67)

Yo: Yes Ultraman (as they are walking together) Ultraman Alpha. (68)

(Ending song started with the ending credit is rolling up) THE END
