No, I am not feeling sorry for myself.
This is how my life started when I was hardly two monts old,
My CV turned out to be full and rich of unpayable experience.
Still I would love to have had access to support in the 1990s, such as Anneli Schinkel and her Generation has now.
When I started looking and exploring for what and who this other never-before discovered person within me was , I learned pretty quick that we were only at the early stages of post adption support at this point my actual being adoptied was over twelve years ago. I was 14 and I badly needed answers to all the questions I had throughout my child hood. My parents did as well as they could in trying to provide me witn answers but there were strong limits and so it did not suffice.
Nevertheless as things progressed in the "Korean Overseas Adoptees-scene" some support was given to me at a later stage.
Thus I am in touch with a number of people, organisations, support groups, message board, etc. relating to this theme. If anyone has any questions to this topic I may be able to give an answer or refer to a specific source.
At this point I wish to take the opportunity to thank a lot of people. Hi to you guys at the KOA group in ASADAL in London and thank you for all the support and good time we spent when I was living over there for over six years.
Especially to Mr and Mrs Park and its lovely restaurant staff, to In Jeong wo is now back in Krorea and to Noah an Naomi where ever you are.
