| First of all, you will have to answer a few questions to yourself: 1. Do you have Half-life? if you answer was no, then my work here is done because to get counter-strike you need half-life first. come back when you have Half-Life! if your answer was yes then please continue to Q #2 2. do you have the latest version of half-life? if your answer was no, then you can download the latest version from THIS site. if your answer was yes, proceed. 3. what half-life patch/version do i download? if you have half-life version 1.1.0.9 now, then you should download the "HL v. 1.1.0.9 to 1.1.1.0 upgrade" file. if you don't currently have 1.1.0.9, then you should download the " HL v 1.1.1.0 FULL" file. 4. ok i have the latest HL patch now what CS file do i download? if you bought counter-strike from a store, you need a retail patch. which one? if you currently have CS v,1.0.0.4, then you shuld download the " CS v 1.0.0.4 to 1.0.0.5 REATIL UPGRADE" file. if you don't currently have 1.0.0.4, then you'll need to download the " CS v 1.0.0.5 RETAIL FULL" file. If you didn't buy counter-strike and you have CS v.1.4, then you should download the " CS v. 1.4 to 1.5 MOD UPGRADE" file. if you didn't buy it and don't have CSv 1.4 or don't have CS at all yet, then you'll have to download the "CS v 1.5 MOD FULL" file All the files shown above can be downloaded from thnx. and i hope you found what file you need. peace:) |
