Thesis is clearly stated and substantial supporting evidence is provided.  Presenter provides an effective introduction and conclusion.  Information is well organized and transitions are used when changing thought.  Presentation is engaging and persuasive.  Information is clear and coherent.

Thesis is clearly stated and supporting evidence is provided.  Presenter provides an introduction and conclusion.  Information is well organized although transitions between ideas are sometimes awkward.  Presentation is interesting and engaging, but sometimes lacks persuasiveness.  Information is clear and coherent.

Thesis is stated and evidence is provided.  Information is organized although some clarification is needed.  Transitions are often awkward.  Presentation is interesting, but not engaging and often lacks persuasion.  Information is not always clear and/or coherent.

Thesis is vague and/or unclear or is not stated.  Evidence is weak and/or is irrelevant.  Organization needs improvement.  Presentation lacks interest.  Clarification is needed.
