Sikh Students Association at CSU, Sacramento was founded in December of 2001. A good number of students felt that there was a need for such an organization on the CSUS campus. After the tragic events on September 11th, the necessity to represent the CSUS Sikh students, and to educate the CSUS non-Sikh community about Sikhism became obvious. Sikhism is about truthful living, seeing others as equals, and helping humanity. The Sikh Students Association at CSUS promotes these universal teachings. |
