8/17/01 - I'm TERRIBLY sorry that I didn't mention this earlier...a
HUGE thanks to Vincent Keene and Brad Marx for
installing my Control FX subframe brace and fixing my
               NEON.  Heh, there! :)
8/16/01 - Wow!  Long time no updates for me...I've been lazy that's
all :)  To save on time, I'll just list all the things that I've
done to my car since the last update...Here we go....OBX
Racing seats, Weapon R 4 point racing harness, Control
FX subframe brace, 3rd Generation altezza lights, red
                undercar neon's, and a SpeedPeople.com banner.  Phew,
I thinks that's everything :)  I also have BIG plans for my
car, check out my Future mods for a full list of what's to
                come.
6/29/01 - Went up to Michigan to get my Unorthodox pulley and
lower motor mount installed.  A BIG thanks to Jason Rabe
and Jeff Meitz for all their help on the install. :)
6/26/01 - I made clear corners for my car.  It was without a doubt,
the hardest most stressful thing I ever did to my car.  All in
all, it took me 4 hours to get both lenses done, and I have
the cuts to prove it. :)
6/24/01 - I went down to Cincy with Brad Marx to take part in my
second Auto-X event.  I was in the Novice class and there
were 9 cars total including a Cobra, Celica GTS, MR2,
and a BMW M3.  I ended up finishing 2nd and collecting
my second trophy of the season.  One more event then I
get put into STS and start racing with the big boys.
6/16/01 - I also went back to Quaker for a little Test and Tune on
which seemed to be THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR!
Everyone there did terrible, including me :(  But I did
improve my R/T times greatly with a new personal best of
               .520.  Yay for me! :)
6/16/01 - I just installed my RK Sport upper motor mount.  I poured
my blood, sweat, and Dex-cool to install this, literally!! :)
6/11/01 - I also installed my Control FX rear tie bar today.  The more
suspension mods the merrier I always say. :)
6/11/01 - I just got back from North Carolina after doing my first
Auto-X event.  I ended up finishing 3rd place in the
novice class.  Woohoo!  Not too shabby for my first
               Auto-X. :)
5/19/01 - Installed my Addco rear sway bar.  Once again, a big
thanks to Nick Golden for help with the install.  Ahhh.....
               oversteer is great!! :)
4/30/01 - I officially became a member of Team RVR.  They're a
group of people who are all about both drag  racing
and autocross events.  I've became great friends with a lot
of the members and am so happy to be apart of the team :)
4/30/01 - Ahhh, news everyday, how exciting :)  I just put on my
Freedom Design strut tower brace today.  It's chrome, it's
red, it's appearance, it's suspension, the best of both
               worlds. :) hehehe
4/29/01 - Went down to Columbus to meet Brad Marx and to get my
new custom graphics put on.  Damn cheap ass vinyl!!
Hehehe.  But we got it all worked out.  Brad certainly
knows his stuff about vinyl.  Thanks a lot again for the help
New pics are up with the new graphics.  Unfortunately, I
had my stockers on cause i just got back from drag racing
the day before.  Pics with the Tantrums shall be up shortly.
4/28/01 - I went drag racing at Quaker City Raceway today.  I ran
my personal best of 15.64 wooohooo! :)  This was with my
totally gutted interior (no back/passenger seat or subs)
and with my 16" stockers on.  Too bad I got eliminated in
first round of the eliminations...oh well.  I'll get them next
               time! :)
4/26/01 - Today, I also made a trip up to Summit Racing to buy
some red wire loom for my car.  Woohoo! :)  I have to get
my car ready for summer shows.
4/26/01 - Yes, the day had to come sooner or later...I removed my
red racing stripe from my car.  I did like it a lot, it was just
that too many people in Boardman had it.  But don't worry,
I have something else planned for my car :)
4/19/01 - Installed my AEM cold air intake.  Very nice and noticable
increase in performance.  Plus it's red and oh soo purdy. :)
3/28/01 - Installed my Black Cat Custom white faced gauges and
HVAC panel.  They look so nice.  Like always, pics are to
               follow shortly. :)
3/27/01 - I shaved my side molding off of my car.  It looks much
better than before.  The car now as a much smoother look
to it.  Pics are to come shortly. :)
3/25/01 - Added 18" Konig Tantrums with Yokohama Parada
215/40ZR-18 tires.  I absolutely LOVE them.  They are soo
               big! :)
3/12/01 - Added Intrax 2" lowering spring.  A big thanks to Nick
Golden for his help with the installation.  Pics are to come
               shortly!!

My Old 2000 Z24
My Previous Updates
My Old Pictures
I knew the day would come sooner, and on October 31st 2001, it happened...I got rid of my 2000 Z.  They always say, "All good things must come to an end."  And you know what?  They were right.  I absolutely LOVED my 2k Z.  I loved they way she looked, they way she turned people's heads, just everything about her was what I was looking for out of an automobile.  Then, one day, it happened....I got a need for speed.  And unfortunately, my car lacked that, IMO.  Sure, I could have dropped more money into the engine and make her faster, but one thing still remained, it is an automatic.  That was the biggest reason why I got rid of her.  So then I decided to purchase a brand new 2002 Z24 (2.4L) 5 speed.  The day I bought the car, I had the biggest smile on my face, and the expression on my face hasn't changed until this day.  My old Z will be missed.  I still think about what she would look like this very day.  But now, she will only live on in these pictures, and in my dreams......
