Dear Mom,
I love you.
I know I was a pain as a kid,
I know I wasn't perfect,
but I tried to be the best little guy
you always wanted.

I tried to stay out of trouble
and yes, I did get in trouble a lot.
That was not a nice thing to do,
as I should have been a nice kid for you,
but I do love you.

I never made the grades in school
like you wanted me to make,
that was my fault. I am sorry,
I should have done better.
I am sorry for being such a pain in the behind for you.

I love you. You are the best mom
any one could ask for.
I thank you for taking care of me
and raising me like you did.
No one could have done better than you.

I love you mom, you are the very best.
The best there is,
the best there was,
the best there ever will be.
Love, Your Son

My Dearest Son,
Thank you for the beautiful poem that any mother would cherish.
Though you were not the brightest child there ever was
and you are sometimes a pain in the behind, (but aren't we all),
I am very glad that God gave you to me,
as my son.
You have grown into a generous,
sensitive, caring, and giving man
that any mother would be proud of.
Remember always, that I love you
and I am proud of you.
Love, Your Mom
