Shrimp Salad
If you are lucky, you are living close to the ocean and you can get the shrimps right from the boat....

For us "Landrats" though, here is the recipe you can even make in the desert.
Ingredients for 6 guests:

1/2 cup of Salad Cream (Miracle Whip)
1 Tblsp Ketchup
Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Cayennepepper (if you like you can put in Curry instead)
1 cup of Baby Carrots  (sliced)
1 small sweet Onion (finely chopped)
2 cans of tiny Shrimps (4 oz = 113g) - drained
1 can Bean Sprouts (14 oz = 397g) - drained




Preparation:

In a medium sized bowl add the salad cream with the Seasoning  and Ketchup. Stir well until the sauce is smooth.

Add the Baby Carrots and Onion and mix until everything is coated.

Add the Shrimps and carefully stir with a spoon until everything is coated.

At the end put in the bean sprouts and turn carefully.

Serve it with Crackers or with sliced Baguette. A nice presentation is if you fill halved Avocados with the Shrimp Salad - that way it makes a nice Appetizer.
