Mexican Restaurants
Tia Juana's - beautiful atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices and great food! My absolute favorite. Outside you see an old Mexican truck as decoration. When you step inside the Restaurant, you might forget that you are in "New" Mexico. Pay attention to the details of the decoration everywhere, even the door handles are in the shape of "Tacos".

Only handicap, far out of town, but Roswell has a good taxi-service called TNT. So, if you want to have a Margarita or two... forget your car and take the cab. It's worth the fun! Check out their web page for further information, they have sometimes even good live music.

Martin's Capitol Cafe - here you find the most authentic and best Mexican food not only in town, but in my opinion in all of New Mexico! The Salsa alone is worth a visit. Seldom a tourist finds his way here, although it is just around the corner on Main Street downtown. This is a Roswellian favorite!

The atmosphere is rather like a cantine. Try to stay away during "rush hour" at noon. If not, you might have to stand in line for a place and have to wait untill the police-men, lawyers and office-workers from the surrounding are finished.
