In summer of 2003, we wanted to have a special evening and chose their restaurant for my birthday dinner. From the looks we expected high class and high expenses� what we got was �just� high class. The interior reminds you of a Spanish Hacienda with a warm comfortable atmosphere. We fell in love with it, so we decided this year (February 2004) to stay in the hotel itself.
Over their award-worthy web page, we could get already a �peak� into the choices of rooms and even availability. Every room has his authentic atmosphere and style. However, we checked in without making reservations (not a good idea on the week-end) and got the standard-room with a queen-bed, just across the office (which is on the second floor in midst of the rooms) because of a no-show. We were so thankful to get it, we didn�t expect too much, but we were pleasantly surprised. It was small but cozy. The bed just heavenly. Just as the rest of the hotel, unique paintings of local artists decorated the walls.
If you visit Alpine, this is the best place to stay to have fun and explore the downtown galleries! We are definately coming back... this time with reservation of the "Penthouse-room"!

Every day you get a breakfast-basket with pastry (not bakery fresh), muffins and energy-bars. All rooms are equipped with a coffee-machine (decaf and normal coffee - unfortunately no tea) and television with HBO and cable.
The Hotel has also a small Beer- and Wine-Lounge and a great Restaurant.
This is as well a great place to come with a mid-size group (50-200) - just my personal estimate of capacity, due to my incentive-travel-experience.
