What Is CJ? And Why Should I Care If You're Going?

CJ is short for : Canadian Jamboree. It's a giant, once every four years camp that is attended by Scouts from all over Canada, and the world. While not as large as the World Jamborees, it's pretty big.

Our Venturer company is going to CJ, but not to camp. Well, we will be camping, but we won't be participating in the activities. That's because we'll helping to run them. You see, it all comes down to economics. It would cost over $500 dollars per person to particiapte in CJ plus food, but it costs us only $400 for food, and $50 camp fee.
