Road Trip- August 2006 |
In August I headed to Missouri to take part in a wedding. While the drive out was nothing special, I made a bunch of stops in Ohio since prior experience had shown it was a boring state to just cruise through. |

Before becoming a writer, Samuel Clemmens (Mark Twain) was the captain of a steamboat on the Mississippi River. He took his writing name from a nautical term used to indicate the depth to the river bottom. |

The happy couple, James and Mary Dean. Obviously this photo was not taken at the wedding but a few weeks later at the Shenandoah 100. |

A few friends met the couple at Cedar Point. This was the first stop on my trip back to Virginia after the wedding. |

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland,Ohio. It reminded me of an oversized Hard Rock Cafe without the food. |

Just down the road from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Since it was just off the highway I stopped enroute to the BB King concert the next day. |
