Game Summary
Game 9: 9-July A44 vs. CST
Result: Win 3-2
CST finally captures a victory, ending their 3-game losing streak. A stronger
defensive game by everyone stifled A44's offense. Although the team won,
the game was much closer than it had to be, the guys cannot afford to get lazy
with the lead. Abshire came up big tonight with 2 goals, hopefully recapturing
his form from last season. Mike Chan had another solid game from the blue-line.
The bottom line is 'a win is a win', and this one lifts CST out of the basement
of tier 2. The boys can pull to an even .500 with a win against IMP next.
