Game Summary
Game 16: 1-August CST vs. SWG
Result: Win 4-2
The team bounced back tonight with a well deserved win against Swingers.
Benson was outstanding and the main reason CST won. A short CST bench
did not affect the team much as they kept to quick shifts and fast line changes.
The guys really needed this one as a confidence builder going into the playoffs.
With the win, CST finishes the regular season in 4th place with 6W-6L, and an even
goals for/against. What could only be described as a disappointing regular season,
the guys will have to play their best hockey yet if they want to advance in the
playoffs. We haven't seen what this team can really do yet, we just hope
they can bring it all together next week against these same Swingers in Round 1.
