Game 12: 18-July SWG vs. CST
Result: Win 10-2
CST wins back-to-back games for the first time this season with a rout over
a short-manned Swingers squad. The guys moved the puck around much better
tonight and capitalized on their opportunities. Big games by Adam (4G), Chris (3G,2A)
and Stefan (1G,5A) who stepped it up tonight. More importantly, the team was able
to finish a team that they should have beat. Benson rebounded from injury with
a solid effort, stopping SWG chances when he had too. Another strong game by
Mike C on the blueline - who continues to do the little things necessary to win.
The guys will look to extend their success to 3 against the Eliminators on Sunday.
