About CSRA

 

 

The Chinese Sports and Recreations Association (CSRA) is a non-profit organization in Hong Kong running various sports programs and courses. CSRA was first established in 1993 by a group of local former sport players and record keepers. By organizing a variety of sports events and programs in delivering the message of “healthy life” among children and youngsters, CSRA aims at facilitating the development of local sports field and creating a healthy environment for the growth and nurture of the new generations.


CSRA concerns the all-rounded development of its members. It gets acquainted with the youngsters’ academic performance and other aspects. Members with outstanding performance in sports, CSRA would recommend them to institutes and schools to further their studies and development.


Since its establishment, CSRA has been an energetic contributor to a wide variety of Hong Kong sports and running scenes, including “Junior Sprinter” in Aprils and two international running events which is on July 1 and October 1 respectively. Starting from 2005, CSRA has also co-operated with Hong Kong Ocean Park and the Community Chest in organizing activities in a combination of sports, entertainment and charity to the public. Events are widely accepted by the society.
