The annual raingutter regatta was held at the shelter at Hope Valley Baptist Church. Everyone arrived and constructed and decorated their boats. They raced their boats and then ate ice cream out of the raingutters. Congratulations to the winners!
Aug. 9- Pool Party
From 11 to 4 pm scouts gathered at the Hope Valley Farms clubhouse. They had a lot of fun in the water and there was great food cooked by the leaders.
Sep 26-27 Family Camping
Because of threating bad weather, the date for this trip was moved one day early. This trip took place at Jordan Lake and there were many new families attending. We went on a hike, swam in the lake, and watched a rocket courtesy of Dustin.
Oct 18-19 Webelos Trip to Hanging Rock
On this trip the webelos hiked a long way up the mountain. Everyone had fun and there was great weather.
November 10 Veterans Day @ Golden Corral
Many scouts participated in Veterans Day at Golden Corral and served the veterans dinner.
Nov. 22-23 Webelos trip to Jordan Lake
From Saturday to Sunday We did lots of things from making a "plantation" to earning the forester activity pin. We also learned about trees and went on a nature walk lead by Ians dad.
