CLEANING THE SCREEN
A movie generally looks very bad when you see the text, radar, netgraph, etc. Most people take all that stuff off and its very simple to do. I highly suggest you take everything off. Although you may use different config settings, these are the standard and therefore you should use these with movie making. Also, make sure you have the video settings correct; use 800x600 (640x480 if you have less than 60gb of space on your harddrive and you want to make a whole movie, most people will say to use 800x600 but some use 640x480 as well) and 32 bit color.
hud_sayext - This command removes all the chat text, its a toggle command so typing it in console again will bring it back
hideradar - This removes the radar from the upper left corner, type drawradar to bring it back
net_graph "0" - This removed the netgraph if you use it, net_graph 3 will bring it back
cl_righthand "1" - This sets the gun hand to the right, this is default but for people like me who use left handed models
cl_crosshair_color "50 250 50" - This will put the crosshair color to the default of green
cl_crosshair_size "medium" - This will make the crosshair medium sized, good for movie making
cl_crosshair_translucent "1" - This makes the crosshair translucent, good for movie making
