YB Tn Hj Md Sohaimi b Mohd Shah, the ADUN for Sungai Lembing, made his entrance
and was escorted into the school grounds by our
Principal, teachers, and prefects, to the beat of a kompang group.
Tn Hj Mohd Suhaimi was then entertained by Mohd Fairus b Kamaruddin and
Mohd Sofee b Abu Bakar, who put up a fine taekwondo
demonstration.
He next inspected the guard - of - honour,
comprising seven uniformed units.
9:00am
Speech Day 2001 got off to a good start with a heartfelt prayer, led by
Ustaz Zakeria b Suboh.
Next was the recitation of Quranic verses by Md Faizal b Che Harun [ Head Prefect ].
Mawaddah, SMK Bukit Goh's nasyid group, then took to the stage for two lively numbers,
Sepohon Kayu and Seruan Illahi.

Tn Hj Harun b Mamat [ PTA Chairman ] went
up to the rostrum and talked about the projects carried out by the 2000 / 20001 PTA
Committee.He also highlighted the ongoing construction of the IT Block.
9:30am
Pn Hjh Meriam bt Hj Samah [ Principal ] delivered
the school's half - yearly report. She also reminded parents to keep abreast with
latest developments, such as the Black Metal underground movement.
10:00am
YB Tn Hj Md Sohaimi's delivered his speech,
in which he urged parents to take an active interest in their children's activities. He
also spoke of the danger posed by the Black Metal cult.
Tn Hj Md Sohaimi then announced that he was donating RM 5 000 to the school, to deafening
applause from all present. Way to go, YB!

to perform, and perform they did; delivering A Better Vision with gusto.
YB Tn Hj Md Sohaimi then received a fruit basket
from our Principal, as a sign of thanks from the staff and students of SMK Bukit Goh.

YB Tn Hj Md Sohaimi adjourned to the canteen for some light
refreshment before taking his leave.
The prize - giving ceremony continued until ......

All present were invited to the school canteen for tea and cakes, bringing the
day's events to a close.
