Vacation 2000

Our camping adventure on South Bass isle.
Dawn, Me, Glen, Noel, C.J., and for a little while Florence.
Went Camping at South Bass State Park a wonderful campgroung  on an island in Lake Erie. South Bas is home to Put-in Bay the closest thing I can compare it to is the Florida Keys.

This shows a high likelyhood
of becoming an annual vacation destination.
I hope to bring my parents in from New York
to camp there next year.
and hopefully have a small sail boat
or pair of jet ski's to bring with us.

We had a blast cooking at least two meals a day
over a campfire or on a grill, playing uno, fishing, swimming, biking through the woods and from the campground into town.
( on a rusty bike I found in the river earlier in the summer that Herb helped me revive.)

Drinking beer, rum and coke reading good books
and talking half of the night away
with some of the best friends I have.
I wish Bob was able to go, maybe next year.
