Sunday A-shift Graduation From Paramedic School.
In a nice Ceremony on the square in downtown Sandusky I graduated from the ER-DOC Providence Paramedic Training Program.
Myself and Nine other students were there. Matt Stratton And Doug Nash received awards.
Matt for Academic Excelence and Clinical Excelence for putting in more time and effort than any one else in the Class.
Doug Nash Received an award For Clinical Excelence. He Worked hard for this award putting in many hours and even bringing a pregnant pt to the hospital and staying with her through the delivery. They both deserved these Accolades and will be Excelent Paramedic's
Chad Buzzard Spoke on behalf of our Class he spoke of the many personal trials many of us went through and of how we were all in our own way's there for each other.
Vern and Virginia Spoke about the class. and how they were proud and confident in us.
Capt. King of Ashland Fire Dept. spoke about what we have accomplished and that it was worth the cost that we and our families have paid this year. in time away from home and wages lost. and he formally announced that we were theirs again.
Vern closed with a reading of a story about how god created the paramedic. Some people think this is sappy but I appreciated it.
we were handed our diploma's and sent out into the world ready for duty.
After Lunch I went to work and had a delightfully quiet night.
