After I was done with school I made my way to Elyria.
A quick stop in at the ranch to change clothes and Grab my Bike.

After that it's Back to the Grind.


We had a call for a five year old boy who cut his head.
he was playing at the playground in cascade park
when he bumped his head climbing the ladder on a slide.
He suffered a small laceration to his forehead.
we responded to help and so did Fire.

Now
If you are not Familiar with Cascade Park
it is situated on a river bank in a valley.
The access road is a nicely paved narrow and winding road.
Driving an ambulance down it is Fun.

I would imagine the Challenge of this road
would increase with the size of your vehicle.

Answer.......  A- Fire.
Except when there are alot of people looking and you are curious about the injured child.


I am not sure how they got it back up the hill
or how long it took.
But I think
I could still hear the beeping of the fire truck reverse warning while I was eating dinner.

We only had one other call the rest of the night.


Shift Change.

If You can not be courtious and QUIET
while the off going crew is sleeping.
You should not be part of the on coming shift.

This is specifically to address Bob B.
who has some Problem with his interpersonal skills.

Which I made him aware of.
By getting out of bed and screaming
"Get the Fuck out of here if you can't be Quiet"
Whether or not it will make any difference is up to him.

But he didn't say much to me the rest of the Time I was there.
I was there covering for Rich until three pm.

But now it is time for Beer.
