Hi and welcome to the day from hell...

I have been awake since eleven a.m. yesterday and I have a full plate again today.

First why have I been up so long?

Well,
Paramedic school has a demanding schedule
in addition to classroom time and work the
educational experience requires a
"Clinical Experience"
( Whiich means working for free in an ER of with an E.M.S. crew.)
(For about 250 hours give or take a hundred...)

Ride Time and Clinicals all night then
Paramedic Class is at eight thirty this morning
then it's off to work for the rest of the shift...

While I was at sandusky Fire for my ride time We were not very busy
just a couple of patients and a very interesting group of guys.

Somewhere along the way I had my day turned upside down and it became difficult to think.
( Due to circumstances beyond my control I think,)
all I know is that by the time I arrived at Providence Hospital
(for a Clinical Rotation)

I was Tired and punchy but back in the swing of things
.
There were about five or six patients and I had an overall good night.
at seven in the morning I was done there and it was time to eat then learn.

I was not tired anymore
(daylight has a way of doing that)
But I was obviously distracted.
( This was also Due to Circumstances beyond my control.)

I was allowed to go home from school early and I am greatful for that.

I found someone else to finish my shift
and took advantage of this time away from obligation
to spend the evening with my wife and friends.

We went to a concert in Cleveland which was thouroughly enjoyable.
If you like Folk music or Traditional music of the north Atlantic check out
"The Great Big Sea"

We were home early but that was good because I needed the sleep.

I will probably feel Guilty about bailing on payday but who cares.

I had A

Good Night
