Monday
Another day chock full of fun and transports.
On one of the ever more frequent trips to S.J.W.S. CCU. I was pleased to see our 47 year old full arrest was awake and talking, in fact he was doing quite well.
On our way out Ken and I stopped in and talked with him and He was very thankful, pleasent and strangely enough he seemed surprised to hear about how bad his condition atually was. He emphasized that in addition to being glad to meet us he was glad that he was actually able to meet us...
After being able to follow up on this call it makes me feel good about my job, and what it is we do.
I went back to the station reinforced in my choice to be a Paramedic and ready for bed, Hopefull not having to act like a Paramedic anytime tonight.
Not that I am scared of it or anything but I don't want people to call 911, and I really don't want the hospital to discharge patients after midnight.
Good Night.
