Tuesday,
The 47 year old full arrest from a couple of shifts ago is still on the vent but is now having purposeful movement.
I'm not sure what this means in the big pigture for his recovery but at least he aint dead.
It was a reality check, I can see 30 from here.
The Guy who did the restoration on the 1963 cadilac ambulance, Claude.
Died last week and he was only in his 50's
I went to his Funeral, Although I had only met him on two occasions he made an impression.
The two occasions when we met were
when the door was almost ripped from 91
(he fixed it)
and when another Medic cut a slice down the side of 91 by crashing into an awning.
(he also fixed that...)
Both times he gave the impression that there wasn't anything we could do to that truck that he couldn't have fixed...
(he aparently never met larry)
He was layed to rest in Amherst
The 63 Cadilac Ambulance that he restored and that we proudly display to the world as proof that E.M.S is a legitamate Medicat art with a distinct and proud history, was in the procession.
