1996/97 Season

The following ranking events were held in the 1996/97 season:

  1. Billiard Art Cup
  2. DDF Snooker Cup
  3. Acropolis Cup
  4. Gold Crown Cup
  5. Rex Williams Cup
  6. Billiard Art Cup
  7. Billiard Art Cup
  8. Mega City Snooker Open
  9. Billiard Art Cup
  10. Gold Crown Cup
  11. Team Championship
  12. National Championship

The following table contains the final ranking of the players and the number of points earned in each contest. The players are given 10 points for each match won, and 3 points for each frame won in a lost match. Seeded players only get points for frames won if they loose their first match. The National Championship is a special event where wins are more valuable: 15 points in the first two rounds and 20 points in round 3, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final. The Team Championship is completely different (win in single's match: 5 points, win in double's match: 2 points).
