can you believe it? a photo of me and the princess - as the usual photographer, this is the only way to get me in the photo.
and here is a performance photo from the cornell college event - dancing to 'harem' by r.e.g. project, and choreographed by shiara, our instructor. the veishea photos did not come out well (especially after the batteries died in the camera) so they are not here.

not only is she sharing my interest in middle eastern dance, she is sharing my accoutrements! here are pics of lenin and me (btw, i took both pics) wearing the tribal (okay, tribaret) headpiece i made - cost me about $5 - who-hoo! i made her a tiered skirt today and am making a top to match it. the kid is majorly excited. when the top is finished, i will post photos of that too. |
