| Message from the USIAA President |
My Dear Beloved Alma Mater,
A milestone in the life span of every colegiala blossomed into the
fullness of love, dignity, respect, and loyalty to cradle and cuddle
the now in existence, Colegio to Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga.
What with the old name Colegio for over 134 years enjoyed prestigiously
by every colegiala spread out all over the world.
With the passing of a century and a third plus one year, Colegio
saw much of its golden beautiful years standing tall, firm and glowing.
The early pioneering sisters who accommodated the entry of students
ingrained in every colegiala to undergo the basic formative years to
womanhood. The strict rules adhered to, accented the blissful lives
of those who inherited the well imposed discipline but accepted, absorbed
and applied.
What has the school given me? A lot of brilliant memories. My training
from girlhood to adult life had made me what I am now, "A STEEL OF A
STRUCTURE, A SOFTY AT HEART." Dear old Colegio, you were my beloved
College of Learning, where I carried your name with pride, as I earned
my graduate degrees both at De Paul University and Loyola University
in Chicago, Illinois. Though I reside on the other side of the globe,
my thoughts are with you. I will always be there for you to thank and
love you, as every alumna should.
