Here is a little explaination of how some compressions work with images. (Couldn't think of a fun way to do this, it's just a boring assignment) This is an image of me compressed through Adobe Photoshop 6.0 as a JPG file first at 50% and then at 100%.

This is just my picture before any of the compressions used for comparison. Not compressed at 89.6KB

This is my picture compressed with Adobe at 50%. . It's compressed at 25.8KB.

This is my picture at 100% compression. Compressed at 15.5KB.

I had a very hard time telling a big difference at 50% when I was viewing it through Photoshop and when I reopened the images they would revert back to their normal look. I can't figure it out and my images will not open through Paint Shop Pro. On the bright side I think it's fixed and working... Not really sure how I did it though, hehe.
