| Hiking, backpacking, and camping are other favorite things that I like to do. The North Carolina mountains are one of the best places to enjoy these fine outdoor activities. The most exciting hiking path to me is the Appalachian Trail (AT). There, you meet people from all around the world who try to hike the entire trail in a six to seven month period (2163 miles) |

| Currently, when time permits, I am tracing the Hohlen family history. Genealogy is an interesting hobby which takes a lot of research and communication. Even though we have the ability to use computers and the internet, it is very time consuming.
