| Custom Tunings |
| Tuning is more than just swapping out balls or changing strings. Much like the way you wield your astrojax, how it looks when it's in it's docking station says a little something about you. What do you want your astrojax to say? |

| What you need: 1- 3 yellow v-max balls. 2 - an exacto knife. 3 - a sheet of star stickers. 4 - a tube of multi-purpose clear adhesive. 5 - a bottle of "pearl-gold" acrylic paint. 6 - a model paint brush. |
| Ok, here's the deal. These are very easy to make if you have all the materials. I'm sure the v-max isn't a problem for any of you to get but the glue and paint may be. As for the star stickers, I have no idea. If you cannot get star shaped stickers you can cut them out of red plastic paper of some sort. DO NOT use paper dyed red. It will bleed into the glue and paint making your dragonball looking like a dragonpoo! Lets get started. This is all done on the inside of your v-max so open it up. The exacto knife is for cutting out the stickers. The ones I found where a little big and rounded so I sharpen up the corners a bit. |

| Use a pea sized amount of the adhesive right above where the band will go. Use the exacto knife or tweezers to place the star right in the middle of the glue. (You can repeat this part for more stars if you want.) The glue will have to set for at least 24 hours before you paint otherwise the paint will bleed into the glue and you won't be able to see the star at all. |
| Time to paint. The acrylic paint is a little thin so a couple of coats may be needed. Just remember that what the inside looks like doesn't really matter as long as it's close to even. From the outside it'll look beautiful. |
| Now some of you may want to stop here and not do the painting. This is, of course a matter of taste and this is YOUR custom. You can always go back and paint later if you want. |
| Leave it open until it's dry then reassemble and string it up! |
| These are some of the easiest to make. Get some metallic colored acrylic paint! Open 'em up and paint the inside. Let dry and reassemble. From right to left: Yellow V-Max - Pearl Gold. **Clear V-Max - Metallic Aqua Purple V-Max - Pearl Silver |
