 | Aladdin's devoted companion. Abu is an expert thief and lock-picker. However, he tends to get jealous of people who steal away Aladdin's attention, like Jasmine. He also has a lust for anything sparkly. |
 | Jafar's evil sidekick. Iago is a very greedy birdie. He is also constantly trying to win the respect of Jafar. He also adds some comic relief to the film. |
 | The quirky king of Agraba. He is also Jasmine's father. He is a little air-headed but he has a big heart and good intentions. |
 | I personally think that he almost qualifies as the star of the show. Brought to life by the talented Robin Williams, Genie is totally outrageous and totally funny. Genie definitely helps to make the film a success. |
 | He does not have much screen time but is so well animated that I had to include him. He definitely adds a mystical quality to the film. I am not sure if you could count him as good or evil, so I will leave it to you to decide. |
 | Jasmine's lovable companion. Rajah and Jasmine can be compared to Abu and Aladdin, though Rajah is not seen constantly at Jasmine's side like Abu is at Aladdin's. However, this is probably because of his size. The bond between them is equally as strong. |
 | Never says a word but still an important character. Carpet is more animated by music than words. Carpet is a loyal character and saves Aladdin and his pals quiet a few times. |
 | He gives us a great introduction to the movie, an Arabian solo followed by a comic sales-pitch and then the intriguing story that leads us into the movie. I think he gets the audience into the movie. |
